Property code: OC-WESH4

A contemporary reverse-level property with stylish open-plan living, incredible harbour views and a patio for late-night drinks. This is the perfect hideaway for small families and their happy hound to visit the bustling seaside town of St Ives and its endless amenities.

Step into this coastal property and head upstairs to find a spacious open-plan lounge/diner, which will be the setting for many glasses of wine and catch-ups with the family. Unwind here at the end of a memorable day before showing off your culinary skills in the ground-floor kitchen space. Host a sociable dinner overlooking those harbour views, or continue the party on the patio, where you’ll find seating for everyone and a handy toy box for storing the kids’ beach accessories. Moving downstairs, two cosy bedrooms offer serenity for the night, and completing this floor are two chic shower rooms for washing off sandy feet.

St Ives is the perfect base for families and their puppies and this is a dog friendly house but if you have a dog that likes to bark then this isn’t the house for you out of consideration for the neighbours. This unforgettable stretch of the Cornish coastline is lined with independent shops, famous art galleries, lovely cafes and a lively harbour. Watch the boats bob along the crystal-clear waters while you sip coffee and indulge in a traditional pasty. With Porthmeor (0.5 miles), Porthgwidden (0.5 miles), Harbour Beach (0.2 miles) and Porthminster (0.2 miles) to select from, you’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches. Take to the sea on your surfboard, or stay on dry land and venture on foot along the spectacular South West Coast Path. Work up an appetite as you amble through miles of beautiful coastal and cliff-top walks and recharge with a cream tea or seafood dinner.

The space here is wonderful - total comfort for us all. How great to fall out of bed and breakfast by the harbour! The views are great and it's been lovely and peaceful here all week. Will definitely be coming back again. Warm and cosy.....
