The cottage is quite simply lovely - you have thought of everything & its to a very high standard - home from home - we struggled to put the baby cot up - we think that it must be new without my husband using his skills we would nto have managed to get it to clip into place & a tumble drier would complete it.

A fabulous stay at the old cowshed...warm, cosy and clean with spectacular views from property and garden. The car parking space being only a short 4 minute walk was an absolute boon. Can't wait to return again in the new year.

We enjoyed our stay, however some things to note - the garden is not secure with a low wall and no grass for fussy dogs, the two downstairs bedrooms smell damp, the only shower is in the en suite of a downstairs bedroom, the nice mezzanine bedroom is on the top floor and the toilets are both on the lower ground floor, two flights of stairs down, soRead more not ideal for middle of the night toilet trips, no hairdryer, there are no curtains on some windows eg kitchen next to where neighbours park their car, so get dressed before breakfast! Biggest annoyance of all is that the car space is 5-10 min walk up the road and back on yourself down the hill again - its behind the property but youre not allowed to walk down the path to the parking space as it goes through the neighbours garden - presumably the owners can go through as an access route but not guests. You also cannot use the back gate. Only the front door in and out (and back door to paved garden). Plenty of positives though - location is perfect, view is stunning, lots of birds in the garden which are a joy, free netflix was fab and coffee machine with pods supplied was very welcome, well equipped kitchen (apart from no weighing scales). I think they must have used to supply welcome baskets because some of the early guest book entries said thanks for the welcome gifts, however we got absolutely nothing other than a couple of toilet rolls and hand soap in the bathrooms and kitchen, which was fine for us. Interestingly on leaving we saw the cleaners bringing in a bunch of flowers, so maybe we didnt get anything as we were a late-ish booking with a discount. Hide

We felt that we were paying for the view! The house was a bit tired in areas, the sofa was conservatory furniture & uncomfortable, the bedrooms smelt of damp & it could be seen on the walls and there was quite a bit of road noise. Not the relaxing break wed hoped for but ok.

Stunning holiday cottage. Fully equipped with everything you could ever need, even bird food to feed the garden birds! Beautiful views from most windows and a choice of 2 terraces to sit on and enjoy the sea view. Highly recommend this property.
