The expansive sandy Praa Sands Beach plus the South West Coast path are just X metres from your front door while the centre of Praa Sands town is within easy reach and offers a handful of amenities.

Step inside to find a coastal-themed kitchen/diner with sea views and a wood burner. The horseshoe-shaped kitchen boasts a Nespresso machine and an exposed brick feature wall. Gather at the wooden dining table for a special meal with your loved ones, or relax on the window seat. Continue into the homely living room with neutral tones and sea views, two comfortable sofas, an armchair plus another wood burner. The sunroom is bright and airy with seating for enjoying a good book and a glass of wine. There is also a hallway with a hanging rail for wet suits plus a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Upstairs is another bathroom and three bedrooms – a king-size, double and twin room. Outside you can enjoy the BBQ, seating and beach views plus an additional enclosed rear garden.

During your stay in Praa Sands, the local restaurant is within 0.5 miles and the beach is canine-friendly from September to June. If you’re visiting in the summer months, the nearby Porthcew Beach (3.5 miles) is dog-welcoming all year round. Follow the coastal path from Praa Sands to Prussia Cove (2.5 miles) past Cudden Point to the historical The Stackhouse Baths (4.5 miles). The rugged coastline of Lizard Point is 18 miles away and is packed with secluded coves.

Great stay and good size for 5 of us and 2 dogs. Made a great Christmas for my mum and sister who travelled down conservatory us as our bungalow in Breage is too small to host. Fantastic to look out to sea. Would like to stay again if there are a few of us again.

It was lovely to have the scones, cream & jam as well as coffee and tea welcoming us. We had travelled a long way and our online shop wasnt delivered for a few hours, so this was very welcome. The kitchen starter pack was also appreciated. The property has a great location with beautiful views from almost every room. The property has all the basiRead morecs and was clean. If you plan on cooking maybe take a large oven dish as 2 small ones were all I could find. The beds and bedding were a lovely fresh clean white as were the towels. The walk to the beach was very pleasant and we found Praa Sands a great base for beach walks, coastal walks and driving to explore Mousehole, St Ives and Porthleven (think I spelt all those right?) and many more places. The garden is very steep both front and back (hence the beautiful views). But the steps are well made and we had no problems. Hide

There needs to be some bowls,for mixing in the kitchen, and the chairs in the sitting room far too low to use without help getting out! The house is Not good for elderly people, and this should be made plain. The views are sensational though! and loved the new carpeting throughout. Would recommend to younger friends.

We absolutely loved our week at Uplands. What a location. the views and the constant sound of the waves were mesmerising. Gorgeous house which was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The sun room was very well used when the weather didnt permit sitting outside. We will definitely return. Thank you!

The cottage had a very good first impression having driven a long way on a wet day. It was comfortable and well equipped and inviting to spend a week on holiday. All the rooms have stunning views of the beach which is only a short walk away. The local shop was friendly and stocked with essentials, and we also hired boards and kayaks at a reasonableRead more cost from the knowledgeable and friendly hire centre. We enjoyed the coast path both East and West from the cottage. We had some meals out but also cooked a few times in the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed eating looking over the beach. The downstairs shower is useful from coming back wet from the beach. The bedrooms are spacious with comfortable beds. The car parking space is tight for 2 cars - we had a Fiesta and a Kuga. 2 large cars would not fit, or have space to turn around if next door also had 2 cars.
