The Smithy was a lovely place in a quiet location with a Pub, walks and a beach within walking distance. Generally well equipped but with a few things missing which one would expect to be present. Being close to Royal Naval Air Station Culdrose there will some noise from Helicopters flying overhead during the day but not too intrusive. Helston offeRead morers the nearest place for Milk,Papers etc so walking to the shop is out. Hide

Lovely stay for our family of 5 (three teens). Very clean and perfect for walks along the coast path. The village itself is perfectly quiet .

The Smithy was everything you could ask for in a holiday cottage. Lovely well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and attractive decorative touches. The location is perfect for exploring the Lizard, and the village itself is quiet and peaceful. We hope that we are able to come again one day.

The cottage is lovely and comfortable , the beds are very comfy . The kitchen is well equiped and really lovely . A Dvd player would be useful , we realise there used to be one . We had our cornish family to dinner and table and chairs were a great size , we had plenty of plates and glasses . We would love to stay again .
