A beautiful apartment in a fantastic location close to lots to see and do in Fowey with private parking and a communal garden, this makes the perfect base for a wonderful seaside holiday with friends or family. It’s close to the water’s edge and 1 mile from the nearest beach.

Up two flights of stairs, the apartment is stylish throughout and has been furnished with elegance and comfort in mind. Arriving in the entrance hall, go through to the light and bright open-plan living space with comfy leather sofas to laze on and watch TV or a film, play games and read. Rustle up tasty meals in the kitchen, which has a breakfast bar for two, and a dining area next to it. The galleried twin bedroom is down a few steps from the living space, it’s lovely and bright; there’s also a stunning double room with a queen-size bed, gorgeous panelling, a TV and good storage for your holiday outfits, and a contemporary bathroom for everyone to use. The apartment has a super-handy private parking space right outside and you’re welcome to soak up the sun in the beautiful communal gardens.

Explore Fowey’s shops, pubs, bars, and cafes not far from the front door. Visit Fowey Aquarium to learn about native fish species; avid readers will enjoy the Daphne du Maurier Literary Centre. Head to the sheltered sands of Readymoney Cove (1 mile) to potter and go for a dip. Just above the cove is what remains of St Catherine’s castle, built by Henry VIII, with awesome views out to sea. The cottage was very well equipped for everything required for a week away. The owners were very helpful and we appreciated the text advising the accommodation was available well before the listed time. Fowey is a beautiful village and is within easy walk from the apartment.

Lovely spacious and well equipped apartment ideally situated just a few minutes walk from the village centre. Fowey is a great base for southern Cornwall and has a good balance of facilities, without being too touristy.

We would happily stay there again. The accommodation and location is fantastic, especially with parking and being that end of Fowey.
