The small, sheltered beach of Readymoney Cove is less than 500 metres away, overlooked by St Catherine’s castle. Catch the ferry to Polruan to explore the other side of the estuary, visit Fowey Aquarium at the quay; the Eden Project (6 miles) and the Lost Gardens of Heligan (14.5 miles) are within reach too.
