Travel from bed to balcony with your morning coffee in hand when staying in this serene Cornwall cottage. Featuring a view of the sea and a short distance walk to the beach, this central Marazion property offers a superb coastal hub for two guests to enjoy a romantic South Cornwall break. Spend time exploring surrounding landmarks including St Michael’s Mount (0.5 miles) and the Lizard Heritage Coast (1 mile) or jump in the car and drive to St Ives in less than 10 miles. However you chose to spend your days, quality time for two awaits in this expertly decorated and extremely comfortable ground-floor apartment.

With exposed stonework and feature windows, the cottage is teeming with traditional fisherman’s cottage elements and has been sympathetically furnished to highlight these. Step into the generously proportioned lounge/kitchen/diner that’s separated by a kitchen island to make the space more dynamic. An impressive Range cooker makes the kitchen a playground for budding chefs, and meals can be enjoyed either at the dining table or on the terrace which is accessible via the bedroom. The bedroom itself is king-size with a sumptuous sleigh bed and a pretty dressing table with plenty of clothes storage. Finally, a handsomely tiled bathroom with a rainfall shower completes the property’s offering.

Explore the historic streets and soft sand beach of Marazion, wandering down to Steps Beach with a fresh portion of fish and chips mere metres from home. St Michael’s Mount is a must-visit attraction, accessible via the ancient causeway at low tide or by boat. Further thrilling boat rides can be taken from the neighbouring town of Penzance (4 miles). Here the harbour gives way to fishing trips and wildlife cruises for a chance to spot dolphins, porpoises and even a humpback whale on a rare occasion!

We absolutely loved Little Katarna. Great interior decor, open airy feel. The kitchen had loads of equipment. We loved the littke quirky extras throughout the appartment. The port hole in the kitchen looking through to the bedroom and beyond was a brill idea. The bedroom was nice and light with patio doors leading out to the patio area. Very disappointed as it is not what it states and darker on the inside in the daytime than it shows on the photos. Have stayed at better properties with sea views for a lot less. You cannot look at the sea sitting on the patio. Neighbours hedges far too high and ruin the view. Certainly cannot see from the bed like it says you can. A big disapRead morepointment all round. Apartment Equipment is perfect. Lovely apartment, I would recommend to my best friends. Everything you need is found in the Kitchen. Nice little town Marazion, with a few pubs and restaurants. We had wonderfull two weeks in there and love to come back soon.

Lovely large apartment, the sea view is a bonus. Parking is a fair walk away so worth bearing in mind if that would be challenging for you. The shower pressure was terrible the whole week and was the main thing that really let the place down for us unfortunately. Marazion itself is pretty and so great to see St Michaels Mount every day. Little Kantara was a lovely place to stay. It's well decorated and furnished. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The extra touches like the cosy blankets and selection of books were a plus especially as the weather wasn't great during our stay.
