This is a lovely property to which we would happily return. We are a couple staying with two young adult daughters who were able to have their own room, and we requested a twin room to be set up as a superking bed for ourselves, which was comfortable. We stayed during the June '26 heatwave for most of the south of England but thankfully the local CRead moreornish temperature did not exceed 25 degrees; the house was pleasantly cool but we were grateful we had packed our own fan as on a couple of the nights the bedroom was very warm. This weather is of course unusual and we are certainly not complaining about this! It did mean we were able to use the garden every day which has a small table on a raised a patio that got sun all day and evening and was absolutely lovely for al fresco dining. The oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer and the excellent variety of cooking implements meant meals could be prepared at home when we didn't want to eat out. There was no dishwasher but there is a good washing machine and we were able to dry clothes on the garden line. The overall cleanliness was excellent and the shower above the bath always had hot water. There was the bonus of an outdoor WC if required. Although we did not need to meet our hosts in person, their communication was excellent, clear and helpful instructions regarding accessing keys in the lockbox and a parking permit was provided for the Chy Morvah hotel which was about an 8 minute walk away up the hill, and the only village general store is just beyond this (big supermarkets only a 5 minute drive out of town). It is a very central location and I don't think any properties in the vicinity have a parking space right outside so the parking spot was very useful. There are double yellow lines outside the property but unloading and loading of cases could be quickly achieved before taking the car to its parking spot. Marazion is a super spot for a Cornish holiday, we visited the Lizard, Kynance cove, Penzance, Land's End, the Eden Project and of course St Michael's Mount, taking the boats across one and another time we walked on the causeway. You won't be disappointed in making this your choice of holiday accommodation. Hide

We had a lovely week here. Lovely cosy and comfortable cottage right the heart of Marazion. Great location for lots of great walks and days out. We went to Falmouth on the bus and St Ives by train. Both very cheap options rather than driving and trying to park. Lots of lovely places to eat in the area including Cutty Sark, King's Arms, VictoriRead morea Inn and Mackerel Sky. Walking over to St Michael's Mount is a must. We have had the best time staying here. Welcome pack was very generous and kind. Great communication from owners at all times. Highly recommend for a lovely Cornish holiday. Hide
