A fabulous wrap-around balcony compliments incredible sea views in this wonderfully sociable holiday home. Nestled within the hillside on the fringe of Penzance, spend quality time with your family or friends seeking the relaxing lifestyle of the Cornish coast.

The front door of this beautiful holiday home opens onto reverse-level accommodation to make the most of the magnificent coastal views. Head straight upstairs to the hub of the house – a tranquil open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with plenty of natural light and uninterrupted views of breathtaking Mount’s Bay. Whip up meals in the sleek kitchen space and gather your group at the dining table to dish up. Head over to the comfy sofas and enjoy a film with a nightcap in hand. When it’s time to turn in, choose from two beautiful bedrooms: a king-size and a twin with a stylish shower room. Spend your morning indulging in a delicious fry-up breakfast and listening to the faint rippling of the ocean from the wrap-around balcony.  Please note in order to benefit from such breath-taking and panoramic views the property is situated on a hillside therefore this does make for a steep driveway.

Soak up the atmosphere of the famous Penzance Promenade, tropical gardens and historic streets with a 0.5-mile stroll into the town. Grab a pub lunch of locally-caught seafood at one of the town’s buzzing pubs and bars before moseying around the independent shops and galleries packed with artsy charm. For a day at the shore, grab your towels, buckets and spades and visit Penzance Promenade Beach, Marazion Beach, Lamorna Cove or Porthmeor Cove, all within 7 miles of the property. Uncover Penzance’s hidden gems, such as St Michael’s Mount, the PZ walking trail, and the Penlee House Gallery and Museum, which are glorious, whatever the weather.

Lovely property, fantastic all round sea views. Very steep driveway so had to park at the bottom on the road. One neighbour told us that some of the residents were not happy about this. Would have been a great holiday if the property had heating and hot water. The system broke the day we arrived and was not fixed in the two weeks we were there. Read moreManaged with small electric heaters but had to walk a mile to the owners nearby flat for daily showers. On our way home, the owner called us to say we could stay another two days but we had already left. We are trying to get an appropriate refund but the owner has yet to agree to this which is very disappointing. Hide

We absolutely loved our week in Lower Trenarthen.....the views are absolutely fantastic! The house was very quiet and comfortable and we could have stayed all day sitting on the large settee looking at the view of the sea and St Michael's Mount. The drive is very steep, so we didn't risk parking our car on there, but there was always space on the rRead moreoad opposite the bottom of the drive, so this was no problem. We would definitely recommend a stay here and hope that we can visit again in the future. Hide

We would describe the driveway as extremely steep. We are fit 70 somethings but found it necessary to zigzag going up and down.

Whilst the position of the Cottage givwa an amazing view over the bay, for older or infirm visitors please be aware the drive/access to the cottage is very steep, without any handrails. Parking on the drive is also difficult because of the steepness and access.
