Located on the doorstep to all that St Ives has to offer, this property is a fabulous base for explorers and art enthusiasts. Within an easy walk, visit the world-renowned Tate Gallery to see some famous pieces of abstract sculpture, or meander the cobbled streets and admire the works of local artists in the independent boutiques. The harbour is well worth a visit, due to the sheer vision of the boats bobbing along the sparkling shore. Once you’ve refuelled with cream teas, ice creams and fish and chips, hop onto the South West Coast Path and head along the well-trodden trail to Clodgy Point and the idyllic resort of Carbis Bay.

The flat is spotless and everything appears to be new. The sofa is extremely comfortable. This flats location is brilliant 1 minute from Harbour beach and all the shops and restaurants. It is however very small, being part of a small terraced house converted into 3 flats. It is suited to a single person or a couple who get on very well and like beRead moreing very close together as it is very small and quite dark. It only has one small window that can be opened and that is in the bedroom. It lacked an outside dustbin, rubbish had to remain in the flat and it lacked a tin opener, we had to buy one. Having said all this my daughter loved the flat it was perfect for her. Hide

The cottage had a great location very close to the beach and was modern and quite well equipped. However a small number obvious items were missing, particularly in the kitchen area. Although it didnt have private parking it was situated quite conveniently for the Island Public Car Park (when parking spaces were available - however this was often nRead moreot the case) Hide

THE HOBBIT FLAT THE WHARF ST. IVES This property was a late booking for us as it was an alternative choice, we were told a couple of weeks before we were due to travel that the property we originally booked 12 months ago was having some building work done and it would not be ready for our holiday dates, the new property was in the same area as Read morethe one we had originally booked and only a few yards away so we knew the location was great for us, the pictures on the website of the new property showed cushions on the sofa and on the bed ,also seat cushions on the chairs around the table, there were no cushions anywhere in the property and the chairs around the table were very hard, my Son in law who was staying in another property went up into town and bought us some seat cushions so we would be a little more comfortable, the bedroom was very small and would not be suitable for someone with mobility issues, there was also some sort of heater on the bedroom wall which made it harder still to get around the bed, the bathroom was ok but is in need of some upgrade, also the kitchen needs an upgrade too and the cooker was very old fashioned with rust on the outside, and dust on the shelf where the plates are stored, so I had to wash all the plates and cups before we used them, we have stayed in a couple of other properties in St Ives in previous years with Si Ives Holidays and have been very satisfied up to now, this property could be great with a few modern upgrades and comfort touches..
