Out-of-this-world doesn’t begin to describe this impressive property. Welcoming large families and groups of friends, the seaside house offers plenty of room for everyone to spread out or get together, and even boasts its own games room. Within minutes of a famous surfing beach, it’s perfectly placed for days out in the sun, scenic walks and exploring Newquay’s vibrant shops, restaurants and nightlife.
To make the most of its incredible views, this modern family house has a reverse-level design, with all six bedrooms on the raised ground floor (reached via a set of external steps). Each one is exquisitely decorated, with the piece de resistance the bunk bedroom – which features a built-in slide! One of the super-king-size bedrooms boasts an en-suite, and there are two shower rooms and a family bathroom to share between the other bedrooms. On this level, there’s also a games room which includes a children’s climbing wall, air hockey, pool and a Smart TV. The open-plan living space is upstairs, including a lounge with comfortable seating gathered around a wood burner. The snug is the place in which to enjoy a movie on the Smart TV while the little ones play in the large toy boat behind the sofas. Cooks will appreciate the kitchen which is kitted out with an American-style fridge/freezer and two dishwashers, and everyone will love celebratory meals at the large dining table or snacks at the breakfast bar. Slide open the doors to the first-floor balcony and sip a sundowner or enjoy BBQs at the covered dining table.
The house is near Pentire, just outside Newquay, and offers opportunities for crabbing, kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding on the Gannel Estuary. For surfing and a choice of food, a 0.5-mile walk takes you to Fistral Beach, while the town centre is 1 mile away.
