This charming property, situated in the centre of St Ives, is the perfect hideaway for families or groups of friends that want a comfortable base to return to after a day out exploring the West Cornwall coast. Sleeping six across three peaceful bedrooms, this unique holiday home offers relaxing accommodation in one of the most popular towns in Cornwall. Spend the day surfing or building sandcastles at Porthmeor Beach (500 metres), then return home and warm up in front of the wood burner in the lounge.
The property is situated along a pretty row of terraced houses and is deceptively spacious. The open-plan living area has a cosy atmosphere with earthy tones; curl up with your favourite book on the window seat or relax in front of the TV on the sofa. Enjoy tasty meals at the dining table on a mezzanine level that overlooks the kitchen on the lower ground floor below; tasteful blues and a stunning Belfast sink make it a pleasure to cook meals in. After dinner, head out to the courtyard garden for an alfresco tipple. When it’s time for bed, any of the rooms will help you drift off to sleep among tranquil decor.
There’s plenty to keep the whole family busy in St Ives, including an escape room less than 400 metres away, the Tate St Ives (0.5 miles) and four wonderful beaches. Take a walk along the South West Coast Path from Porthminster Beach (0.5 miles) along to Carbis Bay which is just a mile further. Kids will love Paradise Park and JungleBarn (5.5 miles) that has an indoor play centre, while grown ups may prefer a tour and tasting around Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm (22.5 miles). St Michael’s Mount (9 miles) is also a must-visit while you’re in the area.
Unsuitable for people with mobility restrictions due to the number of floors and steepness of steps.
