Take a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life at this relaxing beachfront apartment beside Porthmeor Beach in the pretty town of St Ives. Sleeping two people in one bedroom, this is an idyllic accommodation option for couples in search of a romantic retreat on the Cornish coast. During the day, climb aboard a double-kayak to explore St Ives Bay, and in the evening, come home to your apartment and enjoy an intimate dinner for two.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a stylish open-plan kitchen/living/dining area bathed in a palette of soft grey and white tones. Slip onto a sofa in the living area and allow the soothing decor to make you feel perfectly at home. When it’s time for dinner, you’ll find everything you need to cook a romantic meal for two in the chic kitchen area. Enjoy an intimate meal at the dining table, before heading out to the charming shared courtyard to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the stars come out. Afterwards, snuggle up on the sofa in front of the TV in the living area. When it’s time for bed, retire the gracious, glamorous bedroom for the night.

Grab your fishing rod and try your hand at catching some mackerel or sea bass in St Ives Bay. Simply head down to the harbour (0.5 miles) and join one of the many fishing trips on offer. Alternatively, pack a picnic and make your way to the gorgeous Porthmeor Beach (0.5 mile) to stroll on the sand and soak up some sun with your special someone.

A lovely flat in a fabulous location, well equipped and everything works. Porthmeor has the Norway stores and two good restaurants. We has sunshine too, a blissful week.

I could only give comfort and quality a 4 as the sofa is quite lumpy now. The alterations made since my last stay here are excellent.

Overall we had a lovely holiday and the property was as described. The mattress beginning to showing signs of wear with one edge beginning to collapse. We were surprised there was no tea/coffee starter pack (although this wasn't mentioned in the inventory to be fair). However, there was meant to be salt and pepper, there was a small amount of tableRead more salt in a salt grinder (meaning it didn't really work - either no salt or too much salt) and the pepper grinder was empty. There was also only about half a toilet roll supplied. On arrival we found there was scaffolding to the front of the property which we hadn't been made aware of and this was then removed early-ish one morning during our stay. Overall there felt to be a bit of a lack of attention to detail which would have made us feel more welcome. Hide
