Lovely location. Rear yard grubby with a poor excuse for a washing line. Cottage on the whole was cosy. Not easy to get up and down the stairs if you have any kind of mobility issues. Toilet also tiny. Bathroom was a good size. For the price paid ( it is not cheap) you would expect a small welcome pack

Quite small cottage. Was very cool in the warm weather. The fridge didnt work. A new very small fridge was provided much too small. The traffic was noisy. The cottage was in a good area for easy access to the town.

This property is advertised as having 2 bathrooms, in reality it has one shower room with a sink, the one toilet in the building is separate, they are located on the ground floor at opposite ends of the building, the toilet being as far away as it can be from the bedrooms. The floor space in the shower room is less than 4 square meters and has restRead morericted access. We are 57 and 6 and we needed to duck going in and out. The stairs are steep and narrow, safety would be improved with a bannister at the top. There was no welcome pack, which was a shame for us having travelled by train, arriving at 8.30pm, then had no choice but to find a shop still open in the town. It was clean and the location is great being near to the beach and shops, would suit anyone less than 55. Hide

What a lovely cottage in an amazing location in St Ives. A minute walk to the harbour and a couple of minutes walk to the beautiful beaches. I would definitely recommend this cottage and would definitely stay here again.

Shell Cottage is in a perfect location for both Porthmeor beach and the harbour. The outdoor space at the front and the back of the cottage is perfect for wetsuit drying. The outdoor tap is ideal for washing sand off feet so you don't end up with sandy floors downstairs. We would definately stay here again and will recommend to others.

Nice little cottage ideal for 2 adults and 2 children. Well equipped kitchen and new shower room. Quite steep steps in property. Toilet separate which is in the farthest point from the bedrooms and has no heating in it. Cottage did have a damp smell whilst we stayed. No welcome tray offered. Booked as a last minute short break over Christmas.

Fantastic location right on the sea front and near to all of the cafes. Lovely big sofa and flat screen TV in the lounge with Netflix. The newly renovated kitchen and bathroom were lovely. The shower was great and powerful. Beautiful fresh cut iris flowers in the kitchen which bloomed during our week stay.
