Alternatively, visit National Trust Godrevy (10.5 miles) and take in the views of the lighthouse and then walk down to Gwithian Beach and look out for seals in the cove on the way. A great family beach away from St Ives is Praa Sands (14.5 miles) - perfect for sandcastles and water sports.
