Escape from the hustle and bustle to this idyllic seaside holiday home in Cornwall’s St Ives. Relax on the balcony to admire impressive sea views, watch the boats cruise by from the relaxing armchairs or indulge in seafood suppers down on the harbour. The choice is yours!
Drop the bags down and make your way up the steps to your open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Spend quality time with your loved ones in this light-filled space while the head chef of the group takes to cooking duties in the kitchen. Rustle up heart-warming feasts and entertain at the dining table laid for six or carry your food out to the delightful balcony, where you’ll find unspoiled views of the azure-blue shores. At the end of the day, retreat to one of two beautifully decorated bedrooms, or stay in the living room where there’s a double sofa bed. Wake up to steaming mugs of coffee on the balcony and the smell of freshly baked delights from the neighbouring Cornish Bakehouse.
St Ives is one of Cornwall’s most popular seaside destinations, and it’s not hard to see why! You’ll be hard pushed to find a better range of restaurants, bars, pubs, galleries, museums and beaches in this part of Cornwall. While away the hours on the golden sands of Porthmeor Beach, only 400 metres away, or spend the day delving into the works of Barbara Hepworth at her signature gallery in the heart of the town (0.5 miles). For those wanting to see the sights by foot, join the South West Coast Path, which passes through the town and provides exquisite vistas of dramatic clifftops, crystal waters and rustic woodlands. Alternatively, kids (and bigger kids) will enjoy the animals at Paradise Park (6 miles), while adrenaline junkies will find thrills at nearby Flambards (16 miles).
