Gaze in peace at the beautiful sea views from this comfortable apartment and feel yourself truly relax. Perfect for couples or small families at any time of the year, it’s less than half a mile from the five fabulous beaches that surround St Ives, and just a short walk from the many shops, galleries and restaurants of this popular coastal town.

From the outside seating area, the front door is three steps up and then you’ll find yourself in this traditionally styled, ground-floor property. The kitchen has plenty of storage and worktop space for preparing tasty meals and snacks, and there’s a dining table for four in the lounge. This comfortable space also has leather seating gathered around a TV and a cosy electric fire. Head along the hallway to find the family bathroom, with a separate shower and bath, and two bedrooms, a double and a twin. The former has patio doors that lead out to the decked patio area, where there’s a BBQ and a picnic bench - a perfect spot for enjoying some sunshine, a morning cuppa with the newspaper or an alfresco evening meal.

Stroll down the steep hill into St Ives and explore the vibrant town’s exciting variety of boutique shops and places to eat to suit all price ranges. There are art galleries, too, including the iconic Tate St Ives, and not forgetting the five glorious beaches, where you can swim, sunbathe, surf and build sandcastles to your heart’s content. You might also decide to book a boat trip, hire a pedalo or go out on an exhilarating RIB ride. If you want to explore further, you’re within easy reach of Land’s End (18 miles), St Michael’s Mount (9 miles) and the astounding clifftop Minack Theatre (18 miles).

This property doesn't have Internet. It hasn't been updated for a long time. Double bed is very uncomfortable. Not much bedroom space to have suitcases. Lighting is very poor very dim lights

We really enjoyed our stay at The Lookout, which is a very comfortable property, with a fantastic view. We were expecting more of a hike back up from the beach - it's not that bad at all, even with bags of beach stuff to carry!

The flat was warm and comfortable. Parking excellent. Frome the lounge window great view towards the sea.

I would have scored higher for cleanliness but the kitchen utensils were dirty and the furniture in the main bedroom was dirty/dusty. There were cup marks on the bedside table.
