We absolutely loved it here! Such a great location so close to the harbour, didnt need our car all week. The cottage itself is lovely and cosy, and very spacious. The only downfall for us is that the garage which was 20 mins away was too small for our car (we have a pickup truck) so we had to park at Trenwith Long Stay, but that was only 26 so it dRead moreidnt bother us all that much its an abnormally large car! Its a bit of an uphill walk going back to either parking though so be prepared for that. Hide

Excellent location near the harbour beach and shops , lovely chippy on one side pub down the lane. Steep steps up to the cottage so not wheelchair friendly Nice cosy cottage with all amenities.

The location of the cottage is ideal, please be warned however that there are steep steps leading to the front door so may be a struggle for some or for anyone with a buggy. There is a slight smell from being so close to the fish shop which didnt bother us. However, the property is in dire need of a deep clean and a refurb - there were cobwebs Read morein various locations throughout and dirt on the walls. Paint is also coming off in various rooms. We also experienced a leak whist we were staying which soaked some of our clothes. We appreciate that this is a rustic property but these are points that can and need to be rectified having paid a lot of money for a weeks stay. Also please note that there were no basics provided for our arrival (not even salt and pepper, milk, etc) so if you are arriving late please ensure you have packed these items. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here over New Years due to the location of the property but doubt we would return again unless the areas above are addressed. We stay in St Ives every year and find that other properties offer better value for money. Hide

A lovely old cornish cottage, low ceilings, very comfy, clean bedding and towels....steps up to front door. Perfect location and bonus with the garage.

Exactly what we hoped for and in the perfect location. Low ceilings downstairs, which is not great for anyone over 6ft (like I am)
