This is a homely small house which we enjoyed staying in. It felt much more personal and comfy than many we have stayed in. For two of us in our 60s there was plenty of room and I'd recommend for a couple. It's in a perfect location, a very short walk up the hill and has a parking space. Kitchen is perfectly adequate and well stocked. There is onlRead morey one bathroom which includes the only toilet and I think it might be a challenge to have 6 people. The attic room is really only usable for the agile. The house might suit a family with teenagers who are fine about mucking in. The one issue that was a problem was that only one of the sofas can be comfortably sat on...the other seems faulty . Again this doesn't impact if only a couple. I have noticed since St Ives got taken over by Original Holidays that previous noce touches such as some tea milk etc on arrival have disappeared....and also one used to get a welcome info set with money off vouchers etc . Seems much less personal service now. Hide

Wasn't sure whether we would be able to get our T4 Transporter into the space, but it went in with only a little manoeuvring. Lovely cottage and a great location. Loved the view from the top floor bedroom too.

We loved our stay at 11 Trenwith Terrace. The location is ideal, away from the crowded, narrow streets in the town centre. Its on a steep, but short hill, and the centre and harbour can be reached in minutes. The parking space was a little tricky, but after a bit of practice, it was fine for our Fiesta. There was only the two of us staying, but theRead more house is well equipped for a family, with plenty of crockery and cutlery. The main bedroom suited us perfectly, and the large bed was very comfortable, with a feather duvet. The bathroom has five towel rails and the shower over the bath is powerful. We felt very much at home here, and would love to return one day. Hide

Brilliant location with parking which is difficult to find in St Ives, 3 stories 2 flights of steep stairs so not ideal for very small children, but everything else as described! 5 minute walk down to the harbour or to Porthmeor beach. Had a great time there.
