The cottage has a lovely view but is located on a very steep hill that made it difficult to come up from/go down to St Ives. This wasn't suitable for someone with mobility problems. There was milk, tea, coffee and kitchen cleaning items which were appreciated. We enjoyed our stay, the location is fantastic with amazing views that change across the day! Parking is tricky but manageable and we have a large people carrier so can be done with care. Inside the house is a little tired so not as comfy as it could be but the views make up for it. Best view of St Ives from the house. Comfortable house and well equipped, although we didnt do any cooking, as St Ives has so much choice for eating out, and extremely dog friendly for dining out in restaurants, cafes and pubs. If you have an estate car, or 4by4, find a long stay car park, rather than trying to park in front of the house as enteriRead moreng/exiting the drive is pretty much impossible. Hide

Trecarrack is in a very good location, the views from the seating area are fantastic, we were able to watch the seals through the binoculars and have a perfect unobstructed view of St Ives and Porthmeor beach. Kitchen has all that you require, outdoor seating area, utility room, TV room ( which we didn't use ). One thing to note is that TrecarracRead morek is located at the top of a very steep hill and some may find it difficult. Parking is available and with some difficulty we did manage to reverse our Discovery around the corner of the next door property, not easy but if you have a smaller car, VW Golf size it shouldn't be too much of a headache. Overall we thought the property was fairly good value for money, although there are one or two issues which I have raised with the owners. Hide

Cottage is very well equipped and in a great location. The views from the cottage are amazing and a real selling point. This is our second stay here as we loved it last year for these two reasons. The house was however not very clean when we arrived (there was a lot of dog hair all over) which made it tricky to let our baby and 2 year old play oRead moren the floor. In addition, the parking is extremely tight - the drive way is sandwiched between a wall and next doors garage which meant a lot of precision was needed to park and move the car, including having to move the car out to allow passengers to get in and out (not ideal for those travelling with prams and car seats!). Its also worth noting that the property is positioned on top of a steep hill (which gives the amazing views), however the walk into town, although very short, includes a walk down (& back up) a very steep hill. A very comfortable property with the most amazing views. We had a lovely week. Whilst there is parking it is VERY narrow and tricky to get into and only suitable really for one small car. We have a Mercedes estate. We did manage but it was very stressful to park and get out of the space again.

A lovely positioned cottage, with views to die for and comfortable accommodation. The parking is, as indicated, only suitable for a small or medium vehicle - I squeezed a Quashqui in thanks to help from the cameras / sensors on it. Perfectly positioned for taking my dog on regular walks on the beach and along the coastal paths.

the cottage is magnificently situated overlooking the bay. It is spacious and adequately equiped but it would be better to have a matching set of crockery and glasses for 6 persons. i think the wardrobes should be left empty for guests to use. the main issue is the parking access which is very tight for even an average size car. the information to Read morereverse in should be on the website and information sent before arriving!
