Property code: OC-CLV2A

Located just outside the bustle of St Ives town centre, but close enough to walk down and wander the shops, galleries, pubs and restaurants, this appealing holiday home has gorgeous views and even a small parking space. It’s ideal for couples or families looking for a Cornish seaside getaway.

An open-plan layout gives the living space of this ground-floor apartment a bright and airy feel. The galley-style kitchen, which has a microwave and dishwasher, makes it easy to cook up tasty meals, and you can enjoy them at the adjacent dining table before strolling across to the lounge. This welcoming space offers lovely views of the sea and, when you can bear to pull down the blind, a TV, DVD, CD player & DAB radio for your entertainment. At bedtime, there’s a double and a twin bedroom, both nicely co-ordinated, sharing a sweet shower room. A slim courtyard with outdoor furniture offers the chance to dry wet suits or have a morning cuppa or evening drink al fresco, and - unusually for St Ives - the property also has an off-road parking space for one small car.

St Ives is one of the UK’s most popular holiday destinations - and for good reason. There’s so much to do in this historic fishing town, from days at one of the five sandy beaches to exploring the cobbled streets and indulging in some retail therapy or enjoying great food and drink. Walkers can stride out on the coast path or inland, while if you prefer to get out on the water you could book a boat trip or learn to surf, kayak or stand-up paddleboard. If you can tear yourself away, why not visit St Michael’s Mount, 9 miles, the Minnack Theatre on the cliffs, 18 miles, or Land’s End, 18.5 miles?

  • 2 bedrooms – 1 king, 1 twin, plus 1 2ft 6in folding chair sofa bed in lounge
  • 1 shower room with WC
  • Electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher
  • TV, DVD, CD player, DAB radio, Hi-Fi

  • Beach, pub and shop 0.5 miles
  • Please bring your own beach towels
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00
  • Sorry, no dogs allowed

Comfortable, cosy and very well located. We enjoyed our stay. Real bonus to have a parking space but is not suitable for a larger car!

While the flat itself is pleasant, in a nice location, the car park is only suitable for very small cars, as advertised.

Clodgy View is a lovely, comfortable property with a great sea view. Having 2 large comfortable sofas in the sitting room was fabulous for us, one each! The beds were also very comfortable. Internet not available from the main bedroom but otherwise ok. The tv had a full range of free view stations but no access to the internet, so no catch statioRead morens available. Anyone used to watching films should download to an iPad or mobile before arrival. Excellent property with a good range of utensils. We would highly recommend this property and would book again. A few different walking/driving routes down to the sea front. If walking it is downhill all the way so uphill coming back. Hide

Place was lovely however only downside was Internet didn't reach bedrooms and there was also no TVs in room. Car park space is very small, suggest buying a weekly parking ticket but once you move car, its hard to get parked again. We had to sometimes park at number 2, as luckily for us that wasn't occupied the week we was there, but we got told to Read moremove the car from a lady called Marie from original cottages in a manner that was not acceptable, she also didn't want to listern to what we had to say either, she wasn't very helpful at all and was rude, we would not recommend booking with them and we shall not be using them again.
