Sitting above Porthmeor beach, this comfy retreat is an ideal base for four and has amazing coastal views from the balcony, lounge, and main bedroom. Being on the outskirts of St Ives, it’s perfectly placed for accessing everything in town and the stunning local countryside. Your furry canine companion is welcome to join you and will love the coast and country walks.

This bright and airy house is on the first and second floor in a purpose built complex. There are 13 stairs up to the first floor, with a light lounge where you can switch on the gas fire and watch the Smart TV, and there’s a door out to the balcony. The kitchen/diner is at the other end of the room, with attractive wooden fittings and everything you need for eating in. Upstairs are the two bedrooms, a double and a twin, along with the contemporary shower room. Take your coffee or glass of something stronger outside to the decked balcony to relax and soak up the incredible views. The apartment has an allocated parking space in the communal car park so finding somewhere to park is never a problem.

St Ives is home to four beaches all with golden sands. Porthmeor is ideal for surfing and bodyboarding, or you can go to Porthminster beach (0.7 miles) to have water sports lessons. Take Fido with you for a wander along the coast path towards Zennor (6 miles away); head into the countryside and walk to Trevalgan Hill (1.5 miles) and Rosewall Hill (1.5 miles) for incredible views across St Ives and the coast. Enjoy the many pubs, cafes, restaurants, and art galleries, including the Tate St Ives (just under 650 metres away), which celebrates the last 100 years of West Cornwall art.

The location is fantastic and we liked the scenic walk up the hill after having discovered delicious chuffins at the local bakery. The views were lovely and weather permitting, we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony. Parking outside the property was a real asset. I would happily stay here again.

Lovely property within easy reach of the beach, we found the property to be well stocked with everything and more to enjoy our stay. The balcony gave us a incredible view of the sea and gave us a impressive show as a thunder storm rolled in.

Great location and views. Definitely a little dated but we pretty much expected this from the photos. All in all a nice stay but some small improvements and details would make it excellent. Thanks.

This property was perfect for us, extremely clean and very comfortable, everything we needed to make our holiday a pleasure was provided. The location was perfect very quiet, easy to find and parking was easy as well. Even our little dog didn't want to come home!! We had a most pleasurable holiday.
