Take a romantic getaway in this charming flat. It’s a short walk from the stunning Carbis Bay Beach, with easy access to St Ives, so you can saunter around with ice creams in the afternoon, treat yourselves to a dinner date and then have a nightcap on the balcony.

As you enter, you’ll find a lounge/dining room, beautifully lit through sliding glass doors. It’s decorated with sandy and aqua tones to match the beach outside. Next door is the kitchen, perfectly sized for two people, with all the necessary bits and pieces. The double bedroom is cosy, comfortable and great for lie-ins or breakfast in bed so you can cuddle up before you head out. Finally, take a cup of coffee out to the balcony and watch the sea with your partner as you slowly wake up.

Carbis Bay Beach is only 500 metres away, so you can pop down there easily or go for a moonlit stroll by the waves. There are plenty more beaches around, including Porthmeor Beach (1.5 miles), which is great for surfers – or those looking to learn! Alternatively, try Hayle Beach (4.5 miles) with dramatic tides which reveal swathes of white sand. Amble along to Clodgy Point (2.5 miles) where you might spot sea lions or visit Penwith Heritage Coast (17.5 miles) for wild ponies. As you’re in the area, keep an eye out for ancient ruined settlements, shipwrecks and Land’s End (17.5 miles).

Beautiful property in an excellent location. Just 5 minutes walk to the beach, railway station and coastal path with stunning views of Carbis Bay and across to Godrevy Lighthouse. Sad to leave such a lovely place.

The flat was well equipped and clean. The location was perfect with a beautiful view from the lounge and balcony. Lovely to wake up and enjoy a cup of tea on the balcony overlooking the water.

As soon as we entered the apartment we were impressed, it was clean & fresh, light & airy, beautifully furnished and in the most beautiful location. You have views & sounds of the ocean. To reach the beach & train station, you simply walk through a private gate in the garden and after 5 minutes you reach either beach or station. No long walks up a Read moresteep footpath. The road down to the apartment is extremely steep but that wouldnt stop me from returning. If the weather isnt good for sunbathing there are some beautiful coastal walks, or a 5 minute train to St Ives to look around shops. We were fortunate to have beach weather. Carbis Bay is a beautiful sandy beach with great facilities and we cannot wait to return. Hide

The property was very nicely furnished and decorated and the views from the balcony were amazing. It was convenient for the railway station and the beach as long as you are reasonably fit.

Apartment was absolutely lovely, so well equipped. We loved the proximity to Carbis beach and the railway station. St Ives is stunning!! The only thing we weren't prepared for was how very hilly it is. We have returned home fitter than we were.

The cottage was exactly as described in the listing. Everything we needed was available, and it was all in a wonderfully clean and tidy environment which makes you relax into your holiday immediately. Nothing worse than having to get the vacuum out and start cleaning when you arrive at a rental property - and we certainly didn't need to do that herRead moree! All the extra little touches from the owners (welcome package of milk, tea, cookies etc) were well received. We would definitely stay again, and have no hesitation in recommending to friends and family. Hide

This holiday property is excellent , clean well looked after . It has everything you need , well equipped I can't think of anything else you would need . It is a very quiet and secluded location with great views over the sea . Just a few minutes walk down to the carbis bay beach, Would definitely stay again .

Beautiful location just a short walk to the beach. Lovely accommodation with a pretty view of the sea across well maintained gardens. Having dedicated parking is an added bonus. Great all round package and would definitely recommend.
