Alternatively, try Hayle Beach (4.5 miles) with dramatic tides which reveal swathes of white sand. Amble along to Clodgy Point (2.5 miles) where you might spot sea lions or visit Penwith Heritage Coast (17.5 miles) for wild ponies. As you’re in the area, keep an eye out for ancient ruined settlements, shipwrecks and Land’s End (17.5 miles).
