Make your way into the cottage at ground-floor level to find the heart of the property is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, with a painted, beamed ceiling and ample space to relax together after your trips out. Watch TV in here, read your books and sit down to the delicious, home-cooked meals you have prepared in your kitchen area. Follow the stairs down to the lower ground floor to find a second seating area and a family shower room. Venture up to the first floor to a family bathroom and a twin bedroom. A king-size room, with a Smart TV and an en-suite shower room, is on the floor above. There is no outside space with this cottage but you are less than 100 metres from the beach and 350 metres from the green headland called the Island. Parking is in local pay car parks.
Pack your towels and costumes and stroll 350 metres down to Porthmeor Beach. Bamaluz Beach, which is popular with surfers, is about the same distance from the house. Visit Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden, both within 200 metres, during your stay. Lace up your walking boots and follow the South West Coast Path out along the Cornish cliffs from the Island or from Porthmeor Beach. Book a boat trip out to see the seals and other wildlife from the harbour.
