Filled with winding staircases, authentic beams and hardwood flooring, this St Ives property has been lovingly maintained with so much of its original coastal character yet updated to offer an exceptional holiday base. Tucked away on one of St Ives’ winding streets, just moments from the harbour, you’ll find yourself remarkably well-positioned for exploring all of the town’s eclectic attractions when staying in this delightful four-storey property. A grand choice for a group of family or friends, the property accommodates six guests in three equally inviting bedrooms.
As you step foot inside you’ll be instantly greeted by a kitchen, complete with a breakfast table and TV creating a fantastic space for your morning coffee. All three meals of the day can be enjoyed in the first-floor lounge/diner, an open-plan room fitted with an iPod dock for starting your day on a high-energy note. Alternatively, find yourself winding down for the evening with your feet up on the sofa and a film playing on the TV/DVD. For those who prefer a little more privacy, find TVs in each of the three bedrooms, two of which are positioned on the first floor and the final double which is set beneath the sloping ceilings in the attic.
Although there’s no outdoor space in this town-centre property, there are less than 500 metres to walk to reach your nearest beach. Bamaluz Beach, along with Porthmeor Beach and Porthminster Beach (both less than 0.5 miles), is a vibrant destination filled with pristine golden sands and sparkling turquoise sea to swim in. For surfers, find a surf school for lessons or equipment hire within 500 metres. And, for those who don’t fancy sliding into a wetsuit, the sea full of surfers can be admired from a fantastic vantage point at Tate St Ives’ café.
