A charming apartment with two bedrooms, situated close to the beach, coastal path, and bustling town – well located in a quiet and tucked away spot, perfect for families who love to get out and about exploring. St Ives is a bustling town with plenty of shops, pubs and restaurants. It is popular with artists and sculptors and has several museums and galleries. Spend days on one of the four beaches, all of which have wide stretches of sandy shoreline and are perfect for surfing, paddleboarding, rock pooling or building sandcastles. From St Ives harbour, take a boat trip out to sea and go dolphin and seal spotting. A lovely Artisan market takes place nearby at the Island Centre twice a week, perfect for browsing for some locally made produce.

This property once belonged to a fisherman and has since been thoughtfully refurbished into a holiday cottage. On entering, you will find yourself in the charming kitchen/diner. The kitchen has everything you need for a self-catering stay including a handy washing machine should you need to wash off sandy clothes. Eat dinner together at the four-seater dining table before taking a seat in the lounge, accessed via four steps. Get comfortable in front of the TV (with Smart streaming capability) and spend evenings watching your favourite films or shows. There are two bedrooms, one double and one bunk bedroom, and a bathroom completes the accommodation.

Though this cottage doesn’t have its own outside space, Porthgwidden Beach is just 100 metres away, a sheltered, east-facing beach with white sand and blue waters.

The most important thing. Would we go back? Most definitely yes. The perfect cottage from all fronts. Everything about this cottage was spot on for us and two children. Will definitely search out this cottage again on our next trip to St Ives.

Great location, nice bedding and towels and comfortable living room. Bathroom was not thoroughly clean, the toilet smelt and hadnt been properly cleaned, also not all the bathroom floor had been cleaned. The main issue we had was noise from the flat above. You can hear everything upstairs - voices, footsteps, music etc - particularly from the mRead moreain bedroom, and unfortunately the people upstairs did not go to bed until very late. We were kept awake til 2.30am on the first night when finally I shouted up to please be quiet, thank you! and the noise subsided. The following night it was gone 3.15am before they went to bed. These little cottages are probably not designed to be split into flats, and it isnt really the gentlemans fault who lived/stayed above. The lack of sleep affected our stay and enjoyment of a family wedding, and we would not recommend staying here unless you are partying into the early hours every night, or as a group youre able to book both properties upstairs and downstairs. The location was great and couldn't complain about the cottage itself only downside was with a family who were staying above us at 14 island road we could here lots of loud banging on multiple occasions and this affected our stay it's a shame as the cottage was really nice and welcoming so I hope this feedback can help solve this issue especially aRead mores I had younger children with me but great location and noise of road wasn't to bad as we spent alot of the time outside Hide
