A hidden gem at the heart of St Ives, this magical property is surrounded by sub-tropical plants and boasts extremely comfortable interiors welcoming six guests. Despite being positioned in an enviable town centre location, this property boasts its own garage parking space and a walled garden where you can sit out and soak up the sunshine in privacy. You will, of course, find wonderful beaches just a short walk away, the closest being the surfer’s paradise of Porthmeor less than 500 metres away!

Step inside this pastel-coloured house and make yourself at home. The well-appointed property has been thoughtfully decorated in light and bright shades with lovely floral accents, creating an easy, relaxing space with a calming atmosphere. Enter onto the first floor to find a kitchen with patio doors leading onto a balcony and a spacious dining area. You can also access the balcony from the lounge, an utterly cheerful room with soft seating and a Smart TV. Pass a handy cloakroom with WC before heading downstairs onto the ground floor. Here you’ll find three bedrooms, two versatile doubles with zip-and-link beds, Smart TVs and their own en-suite bathrooms. A final bedroom, an attractive twin, is served by a final family bathroom.

If surf is what brings you to Cornwall then this cottage is a wonderful place to stay. The large garden is complete with a hot and cold outdoor shower, ideal when venturing home from Porthmeor Beach where you’ll find plenty of facilities for renting surf equipment or booking a surfing lesson! For those who prefer to stay dry, sit down to a cream tea at the Tate St Ives café to watch the surfers in the water before taking a gentle stroll around the gallery’s marvellous collection. You can then head home via the Barbara Hepworth Museum, just metres from your doorstep.

Well equipped cottage and very convenient location for the town and beach but the restaurant fumes from the neighbouring restaurant. This meant the windows had to be closed between 10:00 and 22:00

The position of the cottage within St Ives is really good and the views over the harbour are amazing the only thing that is alittle abit off putting is the kitchen smells from the restaurants which are directly out the back of the property

This property is unique with a beautiful garden yet in the heart of St. Ives. Not suitable for those with mobility issues.

We've been visiting St Ives for 25 years and this is our 9th visit to Tregarthen. Fab property in a great location. The views from the kitchen, living room and balcony are breathtaking and just a minute's walk to Fore Street.

We had a fantastic holiday at Tregarthen. A spacious, detached house with garden and garage parking must be very rare (if not unique) in such a central location in St Ives, so it was ideal for our family.

The location of Tregarthen is superb. The house is really lovely and comfortable. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very good and beds very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. Note the freezer is tiny, it will not hold anything more than icecream or peas. The views over the bay are lovely. The balcony and patio doors leading onto the balcony reallyRead more need a refurb, the patio windows and balcony need cleaning regularly they were filthy when we were there. U couldnt sit on the balcony which is a shame it is covered in Seagull poo and not pleasant. But the location is second to none minutes from everywhere. Hide

We were able to have a lovely relaxed week due to the quality and availability of the facilities in such a beautiful home. The views are remarkable as is the beautiful garden. May be just not the ideal location for those with mobility issues

The television in lounge is not easy to use. We have had to retune all the stations each time we turn it on, which takes a few minutes and messing around. We bought our own dinner plates because the house one are too small.
