This beachside bolthole has a cosy and compact layout and is decorated with an underlying nautical theme throughout. At the heart of the home, and the place you’ll spend the most time, is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is the perfect place to relax with a book or watch a film on the TV. After a long day of exploring, enjoy great food with a glass of wine around the central dining table before retiring to the sofa. Scrub up in the shower room and climb into crisp bedding in the wonderful king-size room with lovely views across the rooftops and out to sea. Have to agree with other guest comments on this property. Parking is a nightmare, with a very small, tight space to park in. Traffic noise was awful at the front of the apartment, keeping our young daughter awake. Bulb was out in the main bedroom, kitchen equipment was very sparse, with no oven trays or gloves, no tea/coffee, salt/pepper etc and agRead moreain, only one loo roll to last us the week. Also, only 1 tea towel, with nothing provided to use in the washing machine when it needed cleaning. Certainly would not recommend this property for a young family. Hide

Parking is a struggle. Small cars are fine but large ones wouldn't be ok. Very nice place to stay perfect location for beaches and places to eat out.

Living room furniture general upholstery filthy. Kitchen equipment poor , no oven gloves , baking trays etc , no wine glasses . Main complaint is that the shower casing was leaking in use , black mould all underneath which cannot be safe : electricity and water dont mix !!! No bedroom main light wiorking no spare bulbs . Parking is a joke withRead more other vehicles parked , unloading and loading so difficult. 3 steep flights of steps with luggage a joke . Traffic noise horrendous and front double glazed windows in very poor condition. Apartment clean and tidy. However, the kitchen equipment and utensils need an upgrade. Access stairs rather steep if you are unsteady on your feet. Parking is a nightmare. There are better apartments within St Ives at a similar price. The website rating is inaccurate.

Overall a lovely stay. The sea views were lovely and the location is ideal to drive to sites and walks across Cornwall, as well as the local beach. The flat was clean and set up all ready for us. New washing up liquid and hand soap in the kitchen, as well as clean crockery (important as we have allergies in the family!) The fridge had plenty oRead moref space and the window seat was a lovely touch and great spot for looking out to sea. The heater in the main bedroom didn't work and when we reported it, they offered to come and sort it the very next day. The allocated parking is down an alley which is difficult to get into/out of via forward and reverse bay parking. We drove a Vauxhall Zafira and struggled to park in the allocated space. We ended up using a space in the same area that happened to be unoccupied during our stay - the area is allocated for 3 cars - 2 are for holiday flats and 1 for a local resident. To get out of the parking space, we had to drive further down the alley and use someone else's driveway to turn around in. If you own anything larger than a Mini or a Smart car, you will struggle to park here!! Hide

There was such a gap between all the welcoming words in the messages beforehand and the reality when we got there that was no soap and only one toilet roll - for four people for a week?! Such a small outlay on those two things, and maybe a couple of tea bags and some milk, would have made the flat genuinely welcoming. It felt mean-spirited, which iRead mores a pity as its a nice flat and the beds were comfortable. Hide

Great apartment in perfect location a few minutes from the beach. Note that the parking is via an unmade road to the rear and is very tight. Difficult in an X1, anything bigger I think youd need to park elsewhere
