Enjoy a family holiday in the idyllic seaside town of St Ives. This flat is the perfect place for a large family or a group with friends and can be booked with an adjacent property for the ultimate trip. You’ll be close to the beach, the station and the centre of town for a delightful, easy getaway.

As you enter the flat you’ll see a bright lounge/diner, which is dominated by huge windows overlooking the town and bay. There are patio doors leading to a balcony offering plenty of natural light, which bathes the area in a charming glow. Next door you’ll find a kitchen, where there’s an indoor window to the lounge/diner for convenience. It’s well-equipped and a nice space in which to cook. The property has two bedrooms, one double and one dormitory-type space with two single beds and two bunk beds. Kids are sure to love the sleepover feeling this room provides. Finally, enjoy drinks on the balcony and watch the sea move on a lazy evening.

When you’re ready to go out, visit Porthminster Beach, which is just under 500 metres away. It has stunning views, sand out front and cliffs behind. Surfers may prefer Porthmeor Beach (0.5 miles), where you’ll find Mans Head rock formation on one end and Tate St Ives Art Gallery on the other. The town itself has plenty of boutiques, cafes and bars, so take some time to explore. Cornwall is full of wildlife, legends and history, including wild ponies in the Penwith Heritage Coast (16.5 miles) and wild seals in the National Trust Godrevy reserve (10 miles). If you fancy, go on a trip to Land’s End (18 miles from the property) and visit the Merry Maidens Stone Circle (13.5 miles). Stories say they were dancing women who were cursed!

I have rented other flats at Fernlea Terrace. This flat is much larger. One problem, it does not have a dishwasher. Other than that, an excellent flat.

A lovely apartment with magnificent views. We had an amazing time with our 3 year old. A short walk down to the beaches, pubs and restaurants. Would definitely return.

Wonderful location, views and apartment size. The Kitchen was well equipped, really enjoyed having a living room and dining room area both with excellent views. Really enjoyed being so close to the train station, where we used long stay parking. Bus stop. And short walk into the town.
