Property code: OC-CHER4

This centrally located couple’s retreat offers the perfect setting for a break that can be as busy or laid-back as you’d like. Shop, eat out, explore the town and its beautiful beach, or simply wind down with a takeaway and enjoy time together – a four-legged loved one can join in the fun too!

Choose this second-floor apartment for your self-catering stay and you’ll have all St Ives’ holiday hot spots within easy reach. Located with views over Market Place, the accommodation features a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a welcoming coastal feel and all the essentials of home. Prepare dinner for two, snuggle up in front of the TV, enjoy glimpses of the sea and watch the world go by on the street below; there’s plenty of floor space for your pet to stretch out too. The sofa bed offers a flexible sleeping option separate from the peaceful double bedroom, and a tiled shower room completes the apartment’s footprint; when you’re ready for some fresh air, it’s only a 100-metre stroll to the harbour and a wealth of waterside shops, pubs, cafes and galleries.

St Ives has inspired generations of artists and is home to the largest handline fishing fleet on the North Cornwall coast. When the tide’s out the soft, sandy Harbour Beach is sheltered from wind and currents by stone piers – a lovely spot for swimming and sandcastles. Cobbled streets lead across to other shorelines and the grassy headland known as The Island, while fishing and excursion boats offer the chance for trips out to sea; if you’d prefer to explore by car, Land’s End is around 20 miles away and mesmerising Marazion (10 miles) is another must-see.

Location in the middle of Stives, close to Harbour & beach. Nights might be disturbed by pub visitors (& seagulls!)

The location is excelent, close to all amenities. I travelled by public transport and it was easy to get to both the train station and bus station. The apartment is basic, but was clean and had everything I needed for my stay. I would recommend!

Property location is the major selling point, literally a minute away from the harbour. The checking in process was really easy as was access to the property. The flat was spacious, couch and bed were really comfortable and compared to other accommodations in the area really affordable and excellent value for money. Considering booking here again iRead moren the future! Hide
