This charming and unique cottage enjoying an excellent seafront position in Mousehole is ideal for families or friends looking for a peaceful haven in one of the most scenic parts of the Cornish coastline. Mousehole is quintessentially Cornish and a working fishing village with the harbour less than 300 metres away. Here you can watch the boats coming and going throughout the day. The village has plenty of eateries where you can enjoy the freshest local produce.

A spacious property set over two floors that has been lovingly decorated with local artwork. You’ll find many social spaces on the ground floor, including a library with a wide selection of books, comfortable seats, a Smart TV, and a baby grand piano. It is a perfect home-from-home. On the ground floor is a spacious living/dining area with large comfortable sofas and armchairs in which to unwind. Throw a log on the open fire in the cooler months and enjoy the harbour views from the windows. The kitchen has everything you need, and a handy shower room completes the downstairs. On the first floor, you’ll find a family bathroom and three bedrooms - two king-size and a single - all with lovely sea views. Also on the first floor is a shower room, a single bedroom, and a double room, both with French doors that lead to a balcony with access to the courtyard. Outside, enjoy the central courtyard with its table and seating, ideal for breakfast or an evening sundowner.

Discover the unique local culture with visits to Carn Euny Ancient Village (7 miles) and The Merry Maidens Stone Circle (4 miles). For nature lovers there are two beautiful gardens to explore at Trengwainton (6 miles) and Tremenheere (7 miles). We loved this place. The house is 300-400 years old and has all the character youd expect from that kind of life. The downstairs living room is light and airy, and the views out the window are hard to pull your eyes from. The upstairs front bedrooms have even better views. There are original paintings in every room. Built around a small courtyRead moreard, there are two wings dedicated to sleeping, connected by a rich and interesting library in which theres also a tv, and a baby grand piano. I thought I might struggle with the aga as Im a gas cooker girl but it was a dream - especially comforting when swimming was a bit chilly. The kitchen is very well equipped. We spent a happy happy week and would love to come back. Hide

The house is amazing! Location is fabulous, and the weather was kind to us. The downstairs shower was great, as was the separate shower near the far bedroom. However the shower over the bath in the family bathroom wouldnt work.

We were an extended family group ranging from a baby bump to an 84 year old and the property was perfect for everyone. We loved the spacious sitting room/diner and the spectacular views. We mastered using the Aga without too much trouble. We loved the vast utility area and having two fridge freezers. The library was excellent.

Excellent location. Wonderful views. Comfortable beds. Well equipped. However the shower over the bath is only a dribble!!! The window in the bathroom would only open an inch. The Piano room, one of the reasons we booked this cottage, as both my husband and adult daughter play the piano. Fantastic view from the sitting room!!. Mousehole is a beRead moreautiful place, this cottage is in an enviable position and very quirky but obviously in need of some building work to maintain it and sort out the damp. Also In need of a more powerful shower over the bath. Hide

An extensive well appointed property in a superb location which is ideal for an extended family group or a large party. We were all amazed as to how big the property was on the inside yet was quaint from the outside. All our party said they would have no hesitation booking this property again if staying in Mousehole.
