This stunning cottage sitting on cliffs above the beach makes an idyllic setting for a romantic holiday with awesome views of the beach from the veranda. The cosy hideaway has a welcoming living space on the ground floor, and a double bedroom and shower room on the first floor. It’s on a charming Cornish lane in Porthleven close to everything in the picturesque port town.

The cottage is on Loe Bar Road, close enough to the beach to hear the sea, and has been lovingly designed to give guests a taste of luxurious living. Cuddle up in the chic open plan living space to watch the Smart TV, the room features a stylish tiled floor and wooden beams, and French doors take you outside to the veranda. The contemporary kitchen has high-end features, including an induction hob, a Nespresso coffee machine and granite worktops, and a sweet dining area just for two. Up the wooden staircase is the double bedroom, light and bright thanks to having two windows, and the shower room. After a fun day out, head to the spacious south-facing veranda to soak up the incredible views of Mount’s Bay.

The cottage is perfectly placed to enjoy everything in Porthleven then go back to your romantic retreat. It overlooks the beach, just over 150 metres from your door and you’ll also find top class restaurants, pubs, cafes, galleries, and boutique shops nearby along the sea front. The historic harbour is a 0.5 mile walk from the cottage, home to the Harbour Market in the summer months, where you can pick up the South West Coast Path, which runs in both directions along the headland. There’s a stunning walk along the coast and inland to the famous lake Loe Pool (1.5 miles).

Well, what a delightful cottage overlooking the cliff face out to sea. Fantastic sunsets and perfect balcony for a cosy week away. Loved watching the boats coming in and out and listening to the sea on your doorstep.

The cottage was amazing! Everything we needed and the view!! The balcony was a winner for us! The parking seemed an issue at first but friendly neighbours steered us in the right direction

The cottages location was perfect and the property was ideal for two adults though small . However the double bed was very soft and uncomfortable and we could not sleep. To cope we purchased two air mattresses with one of us sleeping on the kitchen floor on the single air mattress whilst the other slept in the bed with cushions placed to support thRead moree body. This was far from ideal and unfortunately we had booked a fortnight so had to manage somehow. I would not recommend this property for this reason. Hide

We had a great stay - the position of the cottage was fantastic and it was very clean and well equipped apart from items mentioned above. We will definitely stay there again.

The view is the key selling point of this property. Though it's small, it's very well laid out and cosy. The bed is extremely comfortable. Although it is located on a main walking route it is very peaceful. I have stayed at this property multiple times and will continue to do so whilst I am able.

Perfect location in our favourite village. Magical sunrises and sunsets over the sea watched from our balcony. Cottage very well equipped, comfortable and cosy. Felt at home and completely relaxed as soon as we walked through the door. Our first stay here but it won't be our last.

Fabulous views of the sea from the patio of this cosy, well equipped cottage. More instructions in the holiday information folder for holiday makers on how to use the facilities would be good, as would recommendations on where to eat and good local amenities and places to visit.

Crows Nest is one of the best holiday cottages we have ever stayed in. It has been modernised beautifully with everything we needed including a delicious cream tea on arrival. The view overlooking the beach is outstanding and the sound of the waves beguiling. We highly recommend this cottage. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
