Beautifully clean, location is just perfect. Very comfortable and feels very homely. The only small issue is road noise, but I guess this is to be expected with such a central location.

The cottage was clean enough but had a terrible musty smell I would recommend the cottage but with the caveat of the musty smell and uncomfortable beds

Tregerrick is a pretty and well appointed cottage set beside the main road into Padstow. As the main bedroom is at the front of the property getting to sleep on the first night was tricky. Also passers by come very close to the living room window which takes a bit of getting used to. That said, the cottage is ideally situated near to the harbourRead more and all the shops and restaurants and is very well equipped. There wasnt a thing I needed that wasnt available and everything was spotless. Hide

Lovely cottage to stay in. Very well equipped. Comfy beds. Quite small, has a spiral staircase. Good location as dont have to navigate the narrow streets, nearby on street parking.

Excellent location. I'd be wary of the stairs as they're tight and a little dangerous for small families and older dogs but we had a lovely stay.

It's the second time I have stayed at this property. The location is very good, right at the top of the old town. Car parking is right next to the cottage in a pay and display but cheaper parking at the council car park at the main road. Cosy cottage, with practically everything you need. Great wifi. This property was dark noisy and too much furniture in not enough space, which made it difficult to move around. Kitchen was reasonably equipped, although cooker was hard to use. Had a couple of issues and the letting agents were very quick to come out and resolve, plus point for them. There is a very narrow spiral staircase, which is difficult tRead moreo take the cases up, I checked the holiday details while we were there and again couldnt see any mention of it, I think this should be made aware to future guests as my partner had mobility issues and really struggled to get up them. We also found the cleanliness poor, a dirty towel was left on the bathroom door, rubbish under the sofa when we moved it and a cigarette filter blew out from under the microwave when we used it. As well as a piece of concrete by the tv, covered in hair and fluff. I also feel more attention could be given to cleaning the bathrooms, under the plugs very dirty with hair and black gunge, this is easily remedied on cleaning of the property. Toilets are very stained and look horrible. Hand soap in the bathrooms wouldnt go a miss as we are no longer in COVID measures. Windows and front door is dirty and I inviting, easily remedied with a clean and a wipe of the door. Its a very noisy house from the road, from early morning until late at night. With regards to being dog friendly theres nowhere to let out your dogs to have a wee, I had to walk our to the camel trail as they wont urinate on a lead or on paths etc, I could tell they were very desperate by this point. Just a note for dog owners. Car parking is expensive 10 for 24 hours which was required if you had more than 12 hours in the car park, which unless youre back at 8pm and leaving at 8am is required. Position of the cottage did make parking to unload or pack dangerous, therefore be aware of steep incline to car park, about 50 yards away. Plus points Cornish horizons were quick to sort out issues, beds and sofa comfortable Hide

Loved this property. This property is in a perfect location at the top of New Street which is on an incline. The property is home from home, it has everything you need and more. The living room has a comfy sofa and chair with a great TV with a fire stick. Dining table sits 4 comfortably and the kitchen is stocked perfectly with all the kitchen utenRead moresils that you would ever need. Upstairs didn't disappoint either, comfy double bed at the front of the house with an ensuite shower room, lots of space for clothing with wardrobes and drawers. The shower was very powerful and lovely hot water. We didn't use the 2nd bedroom but it also had plenty of space again lots of drawers and hanging space. There is a 2nd bathroom to which was bright and clean. Overall the property is great. Don't be put off with negative reviews about traffic noise, I have been coming to Padstow for 15 years and have stayed in numerous properties throughout the town and you will either hear traffic or seagulls. Yes it's on a 2 way traffic system but it hasn't put me off booking the property again. Thank you for a lovely stay and your cleaning staff do a great job keeping the property ship shape! Hide
