Just 6 miles away is the Eden Project with its impressive biomes, well-cared-for gardens and event schedule which runs throughout the year. 14 miles away is the Lost Gardens of Heligan, a once-loved garden which has been brought back to life in recent years so that guests can marvel at the moss-covered sculptures, wander over the rope bridge and enjoy some tasty locally made ice cream.
