Drop your bags down and feel instantly relaxed as calming blues and crisp whites run through this gorgeous property. The ground floor is the ideal place to spend quality time together, sharing snuggles on the comfy sofa or gathering around the dining table for board games and glasses of bubbles. When it’s time for bed, the first floor hosts a beach-themed double and single room with an adjoining bathroom. Darley Cottage enjoys an excellent location in the centre of Looe with only steps to the beach and shops. The cottage was warm, clean and well equipped.

Darley Cottage is a very quaint and entertainingly quirky. My father of 92yrs was easily able to negotiate the first flight of stairs to the bathroom and first floor bedroom. He is quite mobile, but can't walk at any real pace or cover long distances. We had a mobility scooter that we could dismantle easily and alo put back together in five mins flRead moreat. This enabled us to park the car in Millpool carpark and walk to the property where the scoot was easily stored in the main lounge are. We were only two in number, so four and five people staying at this property may find this storage of a M/S a bit too constrictive to available space. I think better instructions could be left for the use of the multi function cooker, as I took a little while working out how to choose the right function for operations. Out of season was really enjoyable at Darley Cottage, but I think high season would mean you would have to like live music from the public house on the corner of the street at weekends. The parking of a car isn't ideal, but can be worked around, even in poor weather conditions. On the whole, I would have to say that my father and I really enjoyed a comfortable stay at Darley Cottage, so thank you for ease of access and leaving arrangements. Hide

The cottage is in a lovely location in Looe right next to the beach, we enjoyed our holiday but the cottage could do with repainting everywhere, there was mould in the bedrooms on the walls and it felt damp and cold upstairs, could of done with the heating on for a hour before we arrived as I was travelling with a child and a new born baby. I love Read moreLooe and go on holiday there a few times a year but sorry to say we wont be coming back to Darley cottage. Hide
