Set within the Cornish village of Helford, this peaceful holiday retreat makes an idyllic setting in an area teeming with natural beauty. Enjoy a drink on the private decking, take in the views of the creek and estuary, or dine out at the local pub.
Make your way up the steps at the side of the handy local shop and up to the apartment where you’ll be spending quality time with your friends, family and two perfect pooches. Crack open the nibbles and bubbles and stretch out your legs on the comfy seating in the lounge. Soak up the magnificent views of the water, while your four-legged friends snuggle in front of the fire. Catch up with your guests on the decking before resting your eyes in one of two bedrooms. The main bedroom offers a cosy double bed, with views towards the village, creek and out to sea, while up in the loft (and with restricted headroom), a twin room also flaunts amazing scenery. When the sun comes up, pop the kettle on and enjoy your morning coffee on the decking, where the fresh seaside air can begin to inspire you for a day of adventuring.
Pack up a picnic with groceries from the downstairs shop and head out onto the 630-mile South West Coast Path. Running through Helford, this national trail covers some of the most breathtaking coastline, including secret coves, dramatic clifftops and rugged woodland. Beach days are all yours at Pendennis Point (20 miles), Trebah Beach (14 miles) or Gunwalloe Church Cove (9 miles) where games of bat and ball can be enjoyed in abundance. Water babies will enjoy hiring boats or kayaks from Helford Passage (14 miles), but for the quieter souls, check out birdwatching and the gorgeous subtropical gardens at Trebah. You may even see deer, too!
