These doubles have access to a shared balcony for quiet evening drinks or an early-morning cup of coffee. Finally, climb to the second floor for the last bedroom, another twin. There’s plenty to explore around Portmellon, including the Lost Gardens of Heligan (3.5 miles), where there are beautiful plants and seasonal events; Caerhays Castle (4 miles) with impressive grounds and guided tours full of fascinating history and Pentewan Beach (3 miles) for splashing around. Take a walk along the Roseland Heritage Coast (14 miles) where you’ll find bays, beaches and plenty of wildlife.
