Relax over a cup of tea as you gaze out towards St Michael’s Mount from this Mousehole retreat. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom holiday home sits close to the sea in the picturesque Cornish fishing village and has a front patio that looks towards the sea. The semi-detached cottage also welcomes dogs.
Wander in at ground-floor level to find accommodation that is modern and welcoming. The lounge, where a wood burner is set into a stone chimney breast, is the perfect place to enjoy cosy evenings in together. Here you can watch the Smart TV, play games or choose a book. The kitchen/diner is a good-sized room with ample space to sit down to holiday feasts after you have taken turns at whipping up homemade dishes in the well-equipped space. At the end of each exciting day, make your way upstairs to lay your head in either the double bedroom, with an en suite shower room, or the king-size, which looks out towards the sea. There is also a family bathroom and a snug, where you can unwind and indulge in a little quiet time. Sit out on the patio with a glass of wine on summer evenings. There is parking for one car at the property.
Amble about 100 metres into Mousehole to find eateries to pause in and shops and galleries where you can browse. Walk 150 metres down to the harbour to watch the boats coming in and out and to book a trip out to see the coastline from the water. Choose between a number of sandy beaches between Mousehole and Penzance, 3 miles away, or embark upon a 2.5-mile walk along the South West Coast Path to pretty Lamorna Cove. Visit Marazion, 9.5 miles away and walk out at low tide to St Michael’s Mount.
