This wonderful house has it all - breathtaking views, a gorgeous terrace for outdoor dining, a wood burner for cosy nights in and shops, pubs and places to eat close at hand. It’s a high-quality coastal retreat for couples and families near the harbour village of Porthleven.

This detached property has a gated entrance with 22 steps through the garden down to the front door. Enter the lounge/diner and you’ll immediately be drawn to the panoramic sea views through the bay window - where the dining table has been placed so you can watch the waves and sky as you eat. After supper you might want to close the shutters and snuggle on the sofa in front of the Freeview TV and modern wood burner. The fitted kitchen is well equipped for preparing delicious meals. Also on the ground floor are a single bedroom and a WC. Head upstairs and you’ll find two further bedrooms, both decorated in soft colours. The first is a super-king-size with a walk-in wardrobe and patio doors leading to a private balcony that overlooks the sea, and the second is an elegant double. The family bathroom is on this floor, too. In the garden, set over various levels, are several seating areas looking out to sea. The decked terrace is the prime spot for alfresco meals, and there’s also storage for bikes and outdoor gear.

The fishing village of Porthleven, less than a mile away, boasts a variety of excellent places to eat, as well as pubs, shops and galleries. Stroll out onto coast path from your doorstep, and head over to the Penrose Estate with its lovely walks through woodland and parkland. St Michael’s Mount, reached via either a causeway or, when the tide is in, a short boat ride, is 10 miles away.

It`s a most comfortable, spacy and well equipped house with an adorable and breath taking view from the main bedroom bed, living room and 3 terraces on the open ocean and the beautiful beaches and coastline. Besides watching dolphins and birds through the binoculars provided for guests from our deckchairs, we enjoyed the beautiful coastal trails sRead moretarting just behind house and the picturesque centre of Porthleven during day and night with all its restaurants and little shops in 10 minutes walking distance as well as the beautiful lonely beaches reachable on foot in 10 to 15 minutes! The house has got its own nearby parking lot which is easy to reach via a comfortable country road without passing through the little city. Every single night we were impressed by the sound of braking waves and the light of the moon on the ocean we enjoyed from an enormously sized hugh bed through the open double door to a wonderful balcony. The stay was a breath-taking experience for us as we usually live far from the oceanside! If we ever return to Cornwall with four to five persons we would love to spend another week in Coach House. We were all impresses by the location of the property, the equipment provided and the cream tea waiting for us on arrival. All in all, it is the best holiday cottage we have stayed in.

We had a wonderful time at The Coach House. The sea views are spectacular. The accommodation is high end but still cosy. We are spoilt for other cottages now!
