The property had everything needed for a family holiday. The rooms were very comfortable, very good shower and spent most time in the excellent loft room looking out to sea. Very close to the harbour shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend.

The cottage was really nice ,on arrival at the cottage we were met with a blocked kitchen gully which had part filled the enclosed yard so couldnt let the dogs use it as dirty water and a dirty sock were in the yard. There was a welcome pack of scones left which were out of date by 11 days on our arrival and no logs for the fire which is advertiseRead mored until Easter. Hide

Lovely house in a fantastic location close to the sea and amenities in Porthleven. Very comfortable lounge and bed, great bathroom too. We loved the addition of the converted attic which had lovely light, the telescope and a large TV fo entertainment. The only comment I would say is that it would be useful to have basics such as salt, pepper, bakinRead moreg foil and more kitchen roll in the kitchen. Apart from that, a wonderful and thoroughly enjoyable stay. Hide

Super property in a fantastic location, only minutes from the harbour and with easy access to the coast path and Penrose Estate. The kitchen is newly fitted and has everything you need (although cutlery was a bit hard to find, hidden in the 'inner' drawers next to the cooker) and the loft conversion is just superb - light, bright and with amazing vRead moreiews. We barely used the car, which was a bonus, as everywhere we wanted to go was generally walkable. The parking space behind the property is a little tight and awkward but once mastered, not too bad. Suffolk Cottage is the best!! Stayed in May 2021 and again this May. The property had a new kitchen and additional tv in the attic room. Lovely touch fresh flowers on arrival and cream tea. Did not want to leave. Less than 5 minutes from the beach. The village still has locals which gives Porthleven its heart, they are all friendly. Id move in if Read moreI could.
