The pretty kitchen/breakfast room is kitted out with everything you’ll need for holiday meals, including a dishwasher and microwave, and the lounge/diner is a bright and spacious room with comfortable sofas, a wood burner, a TV and French doors to the garden. A hand-built oak staircase takes you to the first floor, where a generously sized landing features a balcony with views over the garden and countryside. The double bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a TV, and there are two twin rooms which share a family bathroom. Outside, the lawned garden also has a paved patio with outdoor furniture, making this an ideal spot for alfresco drinks and meals.
This beautiful holiday home is in Newtown-in-St Martin, close to a 16th century, family-friendly pub that serves excellent food, and just 8 miles from Helston, where there are supermarkets, shops and restaurants - and Flambards, an excellent family theme park. Explore the glorious countryside of the Lizard, including hidden coves and sandy beaches, dramatic walks along the coast path and pretty hamlets and villages. Don’t miss the ice cream at Roskilly’s, 6 miles, Lizard Point, 8.5 miles, and the sub-tropical paradise of Trebah Garden, 11 miles, where you’ll also find a secluded beach and adventure play areas.
