Get the whole gang together to this stylish two-storey holiday home in the picturesque seaside town of Porthleven. Sleeping six people over four bedrooms, it’s ideal for large families or groups of friends who want to celebrate a special occasion on the stunning Cornish coast. Start your day with a leisurely morning stroll along the waterfront, where you can watch the fishing boats coming and going, before browsing the enticing stalls at Porthleven Market. In the evening, head back to the cottage to take a seat on the spacious patio terrace to enjoy the uninterrupted views over Mount’s Bay.

Step inside and you’ll be greeted by the stylish and spacious open-plan living/dining area bathed in natural light. Make yourself at home in the living area before moving to the sleek kitchen to rustle up some dinner for your loved ones. Host a sociable dinner at the dining table, and then head out onto the terrace to enjoy a glass of wine. Afterwards, warm your toes a little by the wood burner in the living area and then, when the day is done, you’ll find four lovely bedrooms to choose from upstairs. In the morning, enjoy a freshly-brewed coffee in the sun room – the sea views are fabulous.

Lose yourself in the quaint streets of Porthleven Harbour (0.5 miles). Admire the quaint cottages, sample the local seafood or simply stop to watch the colourful fishing boats bobbing on the water. Alternatively, explore the Medieval castle at St Michael’s Mount (9 miles), where tales of knights and kings echo through the stone walls. Or grab your surf gear and hit the waves at Porthleven Beach (0.1 miles) - the reef to the right of the harbour is considered to be one of the best breaks in the UK.
