This welcoming, traditional cottage, set in pretty lawned grounds, is perfect for friends or families looking for a tranquil holiday close to some of Cornwall’s most beautiful places. In this delightful location between Sennen and Lands’ End, a footpath near the cottage leads to the secluded and little-known Nanjizel Cove, less than a mile away, where dogs are allowed all year round.

An attractive property that is a secret haven and stylishly decorated throughout. It offers plenty of space and a wood burner to keep the chill out in the cooler months, making it perfect at any time of year. The property offers a relaxing blend of a cottage feel and contemporary comfort. The ground floor living room is furnished with plush sofas and is a great space for socialising or watching the TV. The kitchen/dining area has all the amenities to cook and then linger over memorable meals. There are two bedrooms: one double and one twin, and a shower room. You will find a bedroom with sea views and an en-suite shower room upstairs. An external staircase leads to the garden. The sheltered, enclosed garden with lawns and a patio area with garden furniture is a great spot for an afternoon or evening drink on fine days.

The property is less than a mile from Land’s End, where you can walk in either direction along the cliffs from the car park. Drive to the pretty fishing village of Porthcurno, with its shell beach and turquoise sea, where you can look out for basking sharks and dolphins. If you book in advance, you can spend the evening there and attend a performance in the unique open-air theatre of Minack. Head to Sennen Beach (2 miles) for water sports, where you can build sandcastles or enjoy surfing.

Lovely traditional Cornish cottage, great heating and hot water. Lovely garden lawns and a superb cosy wood burner. We enjoyed staying here, after visiting for over 25yrs to the same area, this cottage is at the top of our list to return to. Great location for Lands End and some lovely walks nearby. Local shops and pub nearby, and Sennen Cove only Read morea short distance. Super comfy, and everything you need. Hide

Beautiful place in a beautiful place. Had a great stay here. Everything was great except for couple of issues in main bedroom. The garden is a bonus. We saw a hedgehog one night, a rare occasion these days. Overall a beautiful stay.

Lovely peaceful location and nice cottage but needs a little TLC and general care and attention re: cleanliness throughout, a new boiler, new or repair various bedroom furniture (various sets of drawers in all bedrooms), a larger fridge as a few examples

We throughly enjoyed our holiday. I think it should be made clear on the website that all walks from the house are cliff top and will be difficult for less able bodied people. Nanjazel cove is a 20 minute walk away but it includes climbing rocks and steep steps. Sennen cove is a down hill walk which is very steep so difficult on the way back. HowevRead moreer The First and Last Inn is a very short walk away and the food is lovely. Another short walk away is Lands end a must to see the sunset. Inside the cottage there is not enough food storage room (only one small cupboard) and a very small fridge and freezer. This was ok for just my husband and myself but as the cottage sleeps up to 6 people it would not be enough. Hide
