This characterful traditional Cornish cottage is located in the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole and is perfect for couples, families or friends looking for a peaceful holiday. The harbourside and shops are less than half a mile away, where you can enjoy watching the fishing boats coming and going or try your hand at crabbing from the harbour wall.

This attractive two-storey property oozes charm with exposed ceiling beams ad white-washed stone walls and is stylishly furnished in bold colours and a coastal theme bringing a contemporary vibrancy to the original cottage features. There is no doubt that you are welcome here and that your stay will be comfortable. The ground floor lounge has colourful sofas, and the striking granite fireplace will catch your eye complete with a wood burner to keep things cosy in the cooler months, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy watching the TV all year round. The kitchen has a farmhouse feel and all the contemporary appliances you need to rustle up some tasty treats. A conservatory provides additional social space and overlooks the front garden. On the first floor, you’ll find a double bedroom and a twin bedroom and a bathroom. Head outside to the enclosed front garden with seating to dine alfresco. Head to the rear of the property and you’ll discover the very small courtyard.

Mousehole was popular with writers and artists, and the local gallery at Penlee (3 miles) is worth a visit. Walkers have access to the South West Coast Path, and you can walk six miles to stunning Marazion Beach, which is perfect for water sports and has unrivalled views across the causeway to iconic St Michael’s Mount. Lovely cottage on the edge of Mousehole. Very comfortable. Well equipped kitchen, but is a little dark. Beautiful walks straight from the village. Good amenities in the village. Parking outside the cottage is usually ok, even in the height of Summer, but is first come basis, so occasionally you have to pay for parking in the village, which is 5 minRead mores walk away. Hide
