A tastefully renovated fisherman’s loft featuring sweeping ocean views across the coast of Porthleven. This secluded bolthole is perfect for couples or solo travellers seeking a restorative retreat by the sea. Unwind on the Porthleven harbourfront (500 metres) and sample curated seasonal menus incorporating unbeatably fresh ingredients. Back at base, toast with a sparkling sundowner perched on your clifftop terrace.

This traditional cottage is brimming with a refined coastal charm. Picture clean lines, calming marine blue tones, and light-dappled social spaces. Shrug off sandy windbreakers at the door then ascend the staircase to the inviting heart of the home. Rustle up a post-adventure supper in the compact shaker kitchen and slide out a chilled bottle of wine from the fridge. Curl up on the padded armchairs bathed in the natural light from the large picture windows and indulge in a sweet treat overlooking the rippling waters beyond. Completing this floor is an airy bathroom. As the night draws in, venture downstairs to discover a tranquil double bedroom with a glorious glass door. Pad along the terracotta tiling then sink into the soft linens for a peaceful night’s sleep and awaken to the sounds of the ocean below. Throw open the patio door and sip your morning coffee on the decked terrace or escape the elements and delve into a novel in the inviting summer house.

Embark on a blustery saunter along the golden stretch of sand at Porthleven Beach (100 metres) before strolling by the selection of local galleries, coffee nooks, and independent shops peppering the harbour (500 metres). We loved every minute! Grandads Net Loft is tiny but everything had a place - it was very well planned internally. More than enough space for us for the week. The patio area was amazing - we thought it was the best of all the cottages in this area. And spectacular views too. A short walk into beautiful Porthleven. A rare and added bonus, we had ouRead morer own parking space. Not all the cottages had, and parking is a nightmare here. Hide

Magnificent location/views with parking next to the accommodation. Courtyard garden and summerhouse with uninterrupted sea views. Very limited living space and when the weather restricts use of the outside area it was a bit claustrophobic.

Whilst we realised when we booked that the cottage was going to be small but on arrival were amazed at how small it was, particularly the upper floor. It would have been nice to have had a small table to eat at but there was insufficient space for one.

The view from the Net loft, and its proximity to the sea makes this a special location for a holiday. Its a warm and cosy little place to stay in, with the village just round the corner and stunning walks from the cottage, its grand for a seaside holiday.

TINY! Amazing location, with parking. We've stayed in larger caravans, but the views are outstanding & it's cosy... Huge fluffy towels & lots of hot water.

A wonderful location. Listening and watching the sea was a joy. The place is beautiful although very compact. Everything you need but a table of some form would make it easier eat.

Cute Cottage with amazing views of the sea. We had a wonderful week. Bed was very comfortable and cottage had everything we needed. Garden summer house was perfect too. We used this every day when it got a bit chilly. We will definitely be back to this fabulous place.

I stayed here on my own for a week and the cottage was clean, tidy and bed comfortable. I had an issue with the hot water but this was resolved on the day I reported it. It had everything I needed. TV signal was poor but I didnt really want to watch TV. Great WiFi signal though. Great position on the cliffs overlooking the sea, short walk to the haRead morerbour. I would stay here again on my own. Hide

This is a lovely, quaint cottage in a spectacular spot. The views are amazing, the village is a short walk away. The fact that we have visited four times, says it all.

My fourth visit to Grand's Net Loft. Chairs updated. New paintwork. Excellent towels, bed linen and soft furnishings. Although a tiny cottage it has everything you need, and the position is superb. Views fantastic and you have the added benefit of parking which is invaluable in Porthleven. I hope to return again soon.

Grandad's Net Loft is in a good location with fabulous views. Lovely clean white sheets and towels, a nice welcome with a vase of flowers some scones and jam and a pint of milk. The kitchen area was fine, it's small, but we weren't cooking lots, so it was ok. Plenty of space for clothes and lots of coat hangers. However, the whole place is tired anRead mored needs some love. A coat of paint might help, a table would be more useful than footstools. The photos you see on the website were taken when the chairs were new - they don't look like that now. We didn't sit in the summerhouse - too many cobwebs and it needs painting and a new floor. It seems expensive for the standard, but I guess you're paying for the view. We had a lovely holiday - would I book it again - maybe if it was spruced up a bit. Hide
