Upon entering the property you’ll be greeted by the open-plan living area which has been tastefully decorated in keeping with the property’s original character. Relax on one of the two neutral sofas in front of the woodburner with a film on the TV or sit up at the dining table to play a number of board games together as a family to fill your evenings. The open plan kitchen offers everything you’ll need to cook up meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner during your stay. At bedtime, two rooms are on offer for a restful night’s sleep, featuring two king-size bedrooms with Hypnos mattresses and pops of colour throughout. Finally, there is a family shower room. Fantastic Cottage, great views across the valley, so peaceful and quiet, Jane and Ian made us very welcome and despite an electrical issue, they sorted out the same morning. Lovely welcome basket with local scones, jam and even dog treats. Great location for all beaches and harbours along the Cornish coast. An excellent cottage which is well equipped and spotlessly clean and a pleasure to stay in. The location overlooking the Camel Valley is blissfully peaceful ideal for exploring North Cornwall. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. In the cottage we stayed in (there are a number) there was a pretty front garden which is quite small, justRead more enough room for our two Golden Retrievers to sniff the early morning air, certainly not a run around garden. Check in time was 5pm, which is quite late in the day, however, we were able to access the cottage at 4pm after talking to Jane, the owner. All in all, the quality of accommodation was excellent and I would recommend a visit- we would return inthe future. Hide

Fantastic cottage, beautifully decorated and well equipped with comfortable beds and amazing views over the Camel Valley. The north coast of Cornwall was in east reach with great Sandy beaches and beautiful fishing ports, as was Tintagel and Lanhydrock House. We had a great time and would highly recommend this cottage.

Otterbridge is a really comfortable home and nothing is too much trouble for the owners. A lovely comfortable cottage with great views and a great shower! Wifi was very limited in the evenings but being at the top of a hill meant the mobile signal was good for planning the next day's activities. Jane & her husband are wonderful hosts.

Everything was excellent. The score of 4 for equipment is only because we think the television in the main room is a bit small and a larger one would be perfect. Its an observation, not a criticism. The setting is superb, the views, especially from Otterbridge, are glorious. The wood burner and ability to buy more logs is a bonus too. The whole Read morehouse has little touches which are very thoughtful and kind., especially for Christmas when we were there. Beautiful decorated tree, lovely welcome tea tray with a superb free guide book as a gift and even a present under the tree. All So lovely we immediately booked again for early summer 2023. Hide
