The best part of the property is the view which is exceptional. The cottage itself is made to look far better from the photographs than it actually is with no outside seating which we were under the impression there was from the photographs. The approach to the property is not very appealing and the 2 back bedrooms were musty so it was a good job Read morewe didnt need to use them. Hide

This is a lovely property with spectacular views but only suitable for really mobile people, getting up to the property outside and lots of stairs inside to access three levels. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and fluffy towels also good. Welcome basket really nice but include egg cups for the eggs! Helpful and friendly owner met us and saw us Read moreoff. The parking is only suitable for very competent drivers after a hair raising drive through packed narrow streets to reach the property. We parked along the promenade after first arrival and we have a good driver. But the result of that was that visits to looe itself involved long walks with steep hills - important if youre eating out as we did. Hide

The property was absolutely fabulous for all our needs as an 8 member family, all bedrooms being on suites was an added bonus with grown up children and their partners. The walk in to town was actually lovely a little more challenging on the way back as up hill, having said that we did it twice some days! There are some amazing places to eat in LooRead moree, Indian fusion and smugglers Cott, just two . Sarahs cakes and Sarahs pasty shops were incredible and highly recommended! Brendan at the gulls was very helpful and a pleasure to chat with, thank you for a lovely holiday, well definitely be back in the future Hide

The location of this holiday home is wonderful, overlooking the harbour at Looe in the quieter West Looe. All of the rooms that face towards the front of the house have exceptional views and lots of light. In contrast all of the rooms at the back of the house are dark and have a damp feel to them. There is a bathroom for every bedroom which is greaRead moret. A blind was missing from one of the bathroom windows though which left the user somewhat exposed. This property is on three floors and is not accessible for anyone with any mobility issues. It is only suitable for physically fit and non-disabled people. The parking space is difficult to access. You have to reverse along a narrow track to get to it and then it is a tight space to reverse into. The parking space is not identified as belonging to the property and was taken by a resident of another property when we moved our car for the day. The check out time of 9am is unreasonable, especially given the flights of stairs you need to take your things up and down to move out and in. It is a property of two halves - the front rooms are lovely, the back rooms less so. We would not book it again as it didn't feel like a coherent, friendly and private place to us. Hide
