Make your way into the property, which has a reverse-level design, to discover one of your bedrooms, a double with glass doors on to the garden and an en-suite shower room, is downstairs. Climb a flight of stairs to your second double bedroom, which has an en-suite bathroom. Head up to the floor above to find the kitchen, which is arranged with a breakfast bar and everything else you need to help you cater for your party. The sizeable lounge/diner, with doors on to the balcony and a TV to settle down in front of, also benefits from a top-floor position, where it pulls the views right into the room. Choose between the balcony and patio on summer evenings when you fancy sitting out as the sun goes down. Watch the younger members of your group and their four-legged friend race about on the lawn. Drive 3.5 miles into Falmouth or catch the ferry over from the quay in Flushing, 1.5 miles away. The small sand and shingle cove of Flushing Beach is 2.5 miles from the retreat while the beaches of Falmouth are about 4.5 miles away. Visit Pendennis Castle and the famous National Maritime Museum in Falmouth, then wander round the shops and choose from an array of eateries when you feel like dining out.
