St Teresa’s is a charming cottage steeped in history that has been beautifully renovated to offer guests a bright modern kitchen with underfloor heating and lovely bedrooms to accommodate 6 people.
The cottage is in the wooded Vale of Lanherne, in the heart of St Mawgan village and offers two beautiful secluded gardens, bordered by a Grade 2 listed wall covered in wisteria, the perfect place to relax and dine al fresco.
Enter the sunny property and head through to the kitchen/diner, to put the kettle on for a cup of tea or to make fresh coffee in the machine as you listen to music through the Bose speaker. Cook delicious meals in here too then gather round the table, lighting the wood burner to cast a cosy glow on chilly days. Afterwards, make your way through to the lounge to unwind on the sofas, perhaps in front of the TV and with a second wood burner crackling. There is a family shower room downstairs. A family bathroom is upstairs, together with a king-size bedroom, a twin and two singles.
Spill out into the glorious garden on sunny days, keeping an eye on any children as it is tiered and there is an unfenced drop between the lawn and patio. Light the BBQ and have lunch out here in the summer. There is parking for two cars at the cottage.
Set in one of Cornwall’s most beautiful, unspoiled countryside villages, which is an attraction in itself with its village green, shop and tearooms, and award winning pub.
The family friendly surfing beaches of Watergate Bay and Mawgan Porth are a 5 minute drive away and for walkers, a network of footpaths connects with the dramatic South West Coast Path. Star attractions such as the Eden Project and many fine restaurants are also within easy reach of this country cottage.
