Thoughtfully decorated throughout, this modern townhouse with its fantastic dual-level garden offers a great escape for families and friends wishing to visit the tranquil coastal town of Looe. For a trip you will all remember for many years to come, visit the harbour and venture out to sea on a glass-bottomed boat to see the fish swim beneath you. If you’re lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of a smuggler’s cave!

Sink into the soft velvet sofa to watch a film or sit on the chair in the bay window and soak up the beautiful views out over Looe from the living room for a relaxing way to end the day. Through a large archway, you’ll find the modern dining room with seating for six where the whole family can gather. Next door, the kitchen has been finished to a high level with cool grey tones and all the equipment you’ll need to prepare a feast. A handy utility completes the ground floor, offering additional fridge space as well as a washer/dryer. Upstairs are three bedrooms, as well as a white bathroom which has splashes of green throughout. The master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, as well as a bay window which is an idyllic spot to sit and enjoy a morning coffee. In addition, there is a twin room with subtle nautical decor and a similarly decorated single bedroom creating a calming environment for everyone to get a good night’s sleep. Outside, there’s an enclosed garden and terrace on two levels with a number of steps, garden furniture and a BBQ.

West Looe is the quieter side of town with many fabulous cafes and restaurants to enjoy, whilst, across the water, East Looe is alive with activity, from days out on the beach to its shopping hub. Take a walk along the Looe River up to Kilminorth Woods for a change of scenery where the dramatic woodland meets the water and offers a tranquil place to sit and reflect. If you’re in search of adventure, join a section of the South West Coast Path to experience the rugged cliffs, rocky landscapes and serene mix of flora and fauna which line the trail.

Rose Cottage is situated right in the heart of Looe, you could not really ask for a more central location. You are left some lovely fudge and shortcake from the owners which is a nice touch. The views from the windows are absolutely stunning. There is a steep hill that leads to the cottage , which was no issue for our family but should be taken Read morein to consideration for elderly guests or people who have trouble with mobility. The cottage is equip with everything you will need for your stay, the cottage exceeded expectations on this. The cottage is cosy and compact on the downstairs however comfortable seating only for 3 people. The musty smell within the cottage and general cleanliness unfortunately let this down for our family, we were not greeted with a fresh clean cottage which dampened our spirits at the start of our holiday. :( We feel the cottage is slightly overpriced compared to other cottages we have stayed at. Sadly we as a family will not be returning to Rose Cottage . Hide

Lovely, well-equipped cottage. Clean and comfortable, thoughtful additions like torches, board games, DVDs, plus milk, biscuits and fudge for arrival. Views are stunning and ever changing, large windows make this a light, bright and beautiful home from home.

Rose Cottage couldnt have been more welcoming. It had super comfy beds, soft towels and it was well equipped with all kitchen items for a weeks home from home. The dining space was perfect for family meals and the sitting room had comfy chairs and sofa and TV. We enjoyed the little touches such as cookery books, maps and jigsaw puzzles. The locatiRead moreon of the cottage is in West Looe, which proved a good choice because it was a short walk away from the hubbub of the town and so very peaceful. On the road below the cottage is a Londis which had fresh baked goods, vegetables and all other groceries. The Spar was also handy and people super friendly. We will absolutely come back to Looe and would highly recommend Rose Cottage. Hide

We had a wonderful time. Rose cottage was lovely and we loved the view over the harbour. The house is Very comfortable. The house is also dog friendly providing a blankets and bowls. The house has Easy access to the coast bath for wonderful sea views and a short walk over the bridge into East Looe which has an array of shops, cafes, pubs etc. NRead moreote the main Looe beach is not not friendly. In west Looe theres a pub , 'Jolly Sailor' , very close serving very tasty meals and a fantastic atmosphere, 2 small but very well stocked shops at the bottom of the hill, and a cafe along the harbour road serving a good breakfast. All within 5 minutes walk. We parked in the Millpool carpark, 15 for the week in Feb. This can be done online prior to arriving. Please note there is no access to the property with a car. Not a problem for us but the walk up the hill is a path, only 30 metres, and is very steep. We lucked in with a space next to the fire station to unload. We didnt find it a problem as the intstructions make you very aware. Overall a great week stay. The house is well equipped and comfortable. Thanks Hide

Very well situated cottage to explore Looe. Rose cottage has everything you need for a great holiday. We used the Millpool car park for our weeks stay , which at the time cost 25 for the week.
